Portland Streets

Zach came to visit. We went for hikes and food and took some pictures along the way. Pictures of Hoyt Arboretum, Japanese Gardens, our favorite smash burger joint, McMenamin's Kennedy School, Wahkeena Falls Trail, Multnomah Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.

It's less than 100 miles to the coast from Portland so we drove over and spent the night near Otter Rock and took in the scenery while watching for whales along the Oregon coast.

Kim was in town for a couple of days. We went to the Rose Test Garden, Japanese Garden, China Garden and ate and drank the local food.

First, lunch at Lardo’s. Then a walk in the Buckman district of Portland to see what we could see.

McMenamin's Kennedy School

McMenamin’s has several pubs and restaurants around Portland. This old elementary school was artistically transformed into one of their famous establishments. The pictures are mostly blurry (whoops), sorry.

We drove over the mountain from Portland after a snow storm to see the Oregon coast for the first time. These are a few pictures.
